FAQs

Thank you for visiting The Happy Melt Co!
Here are some FAQs that may help you with any questions you may have. If you need anything further please feel free to send an email via our Get in Touch link, or via message on our social media channels @thehappymeltco

What are The Happy Melt Co wax melts made from?
All of our melts are created using soy wax (which is vegan friendly & renowned for its excellent scent throw), vegan friendly fragrance oils & biodegrable glitters/ mica

How do I use my wax melts & how many segments do you recommend using?
We recommend that you use a tealight wax melt warmer, or alternatively an electric wax melt warmer. Our 6 cell snap bars can be easily broken to pop into your burner, we recommend 1-2 cubes dependent on the size of the burner dish

Are you CLP compliant with wax melt health & safety regulations?
Yes we are, and all CLP safety information can be found on the stickers on the reverse of our wax melt packaging. Each wax melt will be labelled with the scent name, any allergens and precautionary/ hazard statements.

How long do The Happy Melt Co wax melts last?
This can differ between scents. All fragrances are made up of varying levels of high, mid and base notes. As you burn your wax melts, the fragrance is slowly burnt off, filling your room with a gorgeous scent. The notes are burnt off from high- base, so scents that incorporate more high notes are likely to burn off more quickly, compared to scents with a more complex blend of notes. That being said, our melts are all tested to ensure high quality & scent throw from maximum enjoyment.

What is the best way to remove a wax melt from my burner?
Once you've enjoyed the fragrance of your melt & you're ready to change it over, there are a few ways in which you can remove your old wax.
Firstly, you can pop a lit tealight under your burner, wait 20-30 seconds and gently press on the edge of the wax to slide it out of the burner. If you wait too long and your wax is melted, simply use some cotton wool to soak up the melted wax- please take caution when removing the wax in this way.
